Most people start with the Medium (10 lb) bar. It's strong enough to feel real resistance but gentle enough that you won't aggravate an existing flare. If you're recovering from surgery or in an active painful flare, start with Light (6 lb). If you're already pain-free and using Kyntra for prevention or maintenance, go with Firm (15 lb). You can always progress to a heavier bar as you get stronger. Most users move up within 3 to 4 weeks.
